Save the Rhino Trust

Rhino have been around for 50 million years. They are a flagship species whose presence supports biodiversity up and down the food chain. In northwest Namibia, the critically endangered black rhino is making its last stand. Save the Rhino Trust trackers work with community rhino rangers to patrol the last free-roaming population across a range of 2.5 million acres. Their exceptional tracking skills are tested during long patrols on foot in rugged terrain with no fences and no national park status. Their eyes save lives, reducing poaching by 80 percent. Come meet the rangers, hear about their work. And maybe, adopt a rhino for a year.
