Illegal wildlife trade is a multi-billion dollar global industry driven by consumer demand in expanding economies. WildAid works to reduce global consumption of wild meats and increase local support for conservation efforts. They coordinate with governments to protect fragile marine reserves from illegal fishing and shark finning. And they work to enhance public and political will for anti-poaching efforts that reduce the impact of climate change. More than 200 international leaders in film, music, sports, politics, religion and business volunteer to lend their voices and their global reach to conservation messaging.
